BBQ Bacon Meatballs

  • 2 yellow onions

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1/4 cup onions, diced

  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

  • 1/4 cup mushrooms, chopped

  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp. spicy ketchup

  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup oatmeal or bread crumbs

  • 1 pack of bacon

  • 1 bottle of BBQ sauce

Directions:

  1. Cut the onions in half and keep the larger pieces to use as a cup around the meatballs. 

  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients. Then make about 2-inch size meatballs and place in 2 half peels of the onion, them wrap with bacon. 

  3. Back in a dish at 425*F for 40 minutes. Cover the meatballs in BBQ sauce and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. Or you can grill at 350*F for 30 minutes or so. Then add BBQ sauce and grill until done.
